HOW IT WORKS

From curious to matched, in four steps.

No commitment at any stage. You choose what to share, when to move forward, and which agencies get to see your profile.

1

Apply

Answer a few questions about you and your pregnancy history. It takes about five minutes, and nothing goes anywhere until you say so.

2

Talk it through

A personal conversation about your goals, your questions, and what matters most to you in an agency.

3

Build your profile

We verify your qualifications and put together a profile that presents you at your strongest.

4

Get matched

Your profile goes to agencies where you're a genuine fit. You compare what they offer and decide — on your timeline.

What Each Stage Actually Takes

These are ranges, not promises. Matching is the stage that varies most, and no one can tell you your number in advance.

01

Apply

About 5 minutes

A short form about your health history and where you live. No documents needed yet, and nothing is committed.

02

Talk it through

Within a few days

Cindy calls you. You ask whatever you want — including the awkward questions. Still nothing committed.

03

Build your profile

1 to 2 weeks

We gather your delivery records and put together the profile agencies actually read, so you are not judged on a thin file.

04

Get matched

1 to 2 months

Your profile goes to agencies that fit your situation. You compare what each one offers and decide. This stage varies the most.

05

Medical records review

1 to 2 weeks

Your delivery records go to the intended parents’ IVF clinic. Nothing moves forward until their doctor reviews and approves them.

06

Psychological evaluation

1 to 2 weeks

A separate appointment with a therapist. This is its own step, booked on its own — not part of your medical screening.

07

Medical screening

4 to 8 weeks

At the IVF clinic: bloodwork, a urine test, a uterine evaluation, and a BMI check. Approval is not guaranteed at this stage.

08

Legal

3 to 6 weeks

You get your own attorney, paid for by the intended parents. Nothing gets signed until you understand what you are signing.

09

Transfer and pregnancy

About 10 months

Most monitoring happens close to home. Compensation is paid on the schedule written into your contract, not in one lump sum.

10

Delivery

Your final payment and the end of the medical obligations in your contract. Most agencies also cover recovery time.

About the Process

01

Can I stop at any point?

02

Who pays for what?

03

What happens if the transfer does not work?

04

Do I get a say in who I carry for?

05

What support do I get during the pregnancy?
Can I stop at any point?

You are able to stop before you are matched. After that, the intended parents have already paid for your background check, your psychological evaluation, your medical screening and your attorney, and a family is counting on you. That is why the application and the consultation call matter — talk it through with your support people first. If you feel unsure, it is better to wait until you are certain than to start.
